Directions / How to Get There

Address

NDSM Werf, Scheepsbouwkade 24, 1033 WB Amsterdam-Noord
The NDSM Werf is easy for everyone to reach — on foot, by bike, by public transport, or by car.
Ferry
Take the free GVB ferry from Amsterdam Central Station to the NDSM Werf. The trip takes about 10 minutes.
The ferry departs twice per hour, at a quarter to and a quarter past the hour, from the docks at the back of Amsterdam Central Station.
For the return trip, the ferry leaves the NDSM Werf on the hour and at half past.
On weekdays and only during the day (until 7:45 PM outbound and 7:22 PM return), there is another ferry between Tasmanstraat in the Western Docklands and the NDSM Werf.
This ferry leaves every half hour, at .45 and .15 past the hour, and returns at .22 and .52.
The crossing takes only 5 minutes.
By Bicycle
From the Buiksloterweg ferry, follow the bike path along Buiksloterweg and then follow the signs toward Oostzaan.
You’ll reach Klaprozenweg — follow this for about one kilometre until you reach Van Riemsdijkweg.
Turn left, then take another left, and you’ll soon see the gates of the NDSM Werf site.
By Bus
Afraid of water or just don’t feel like a lovely 10-minute ferry ride?
Then take the bus from Amsterdam Central Station:
Bus 35 → get off at Atatürk stop
Bus 38 or 94 → get off at Klaprozenweg stop
From these stops, it’s about a 6-minute walk to the NDSM Werf.
By Car
From the A10 ring road, take exit S118 (Tuindorp Oostzaan).
At both roundabouts you encounter, take the second exit.
At the traffic light, go straight ahead, then take the first right onto Van Riemsdijkweg.
You’ll drive directly onto the festival grounds.
Free parking is available here.
